Finn Balor is yet another WWE name that is likely to head out of the door in the near future. Drew McIntyre is one of the biggest names who is rumoured to be out of the door of WWE.
This Saturday some of the biggest names in Professional wrestling will take part in the Royal Rumble event. The likes of CM Punk and Cody Rhodes are looking to make it to the main event of WrestleMania.
With AEW coming strong, there are massive speculations about which WWE superstar could head to Jacksonville. Finn Balor has a lot of history with many of the big-name wrestlers in that promotion.
The contract status of Finn Balor gets clear
Noted wrestler Finn Balor might not leave World Wrestling Entertainment just yet. As per reports, the veteran Irish grappler’s contract doesn’t end just after WrestleMania. There have been no talks of contract renewal as yet.
According to a noted wrestling website, Fightful Select Finn Balor and WWE are yet to discuss new terms. In case the two parties do not agree then All Elite Wrestling might come into play.
Kenny Omega, the Young Bucks, and others have already worked with Balor before. Before signing for the WWE, Finn Balor was part of the New Japan Pro Wrestling group. During his stint with NJPW, Balor formed the noted group called the ‘Bullet Club’.
Since signing for the WWE NXT Brand, Finn Balor has become a mainstay in WWE. Currently, he is the reigning tag-team champion on the RAW brand along with Damian Priest. Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonaugh are currently in the red brand in the Judgment Day faction.
Meanwhile, former WWE Star Maven has come out and lent his support to CM Punk. While speaking on his YouTube channel Maven said “I hate that they made him wrestle so many times hurt because I’m sure he’s feeling that every day. if Punk is financially getting compensated for what he is happy with, and the WWE is getting a draw then it is a win for both sides”
This week on RAW, CM Punk and Cody Rhodes came face to face and had a huge battle on the mic. After a few personal barbs thrown at each other, the fans will wait to see who comes out on top this Saturday.
