WATCH: CM Punk enters WWE RAW amid massive fan fare after 2014

Former WWE wrestler, CM Punk received a grand welcome from the fans during Survivor Series: WarGames 2023. For the first time after 2014. In his last game nine years back, Punk was the first entrant in the annual Royal Rumble Match.  After Punk lasted until the final four, Kane, who had already been eliminated earlier in the match by Punk, was illegally eliminated.

The Straight Edge Superstar from the outside and proceeded to chokeslam him through the announce table. Meanwhile, after entering the arena, the fans gave him a warm welcome ahead of his match.

Hell froze for CM Punk while he had a microphone in his hand

Punk says it looks like hell froze over, and he's standing in a WWE ring with a live microphone in his hand. He says he's been feeling like himself since Saturday, and he's been trying to find the words to explain how he feels. He says he's come up with two words and says he's changed. He says the American Dream taught him that as long as you speak from the heart, you tell the truth and the truth is that he's home.

He says he belongs in WWE and it's home. He says he's been gone for 10 years, but fans haven't forgotten him in that time and that's powerful. He says no one ever stopped chanting his name and says he's proud that the voiceless found their voice. He says he loves fans and he's missed them, then says he wishes he could say he never had to leave. He says a Wise Man told him that to get everything out of WWE, he'd have to leave and come back. He says he's back to get everything out of WWE and for the fans. He says everyone is happy to see him backstage, except for a few.
