Seth Rollins is going to defend his World Heavyweight Championship at the WWE NXT: Gold Rush against Bron Breakker

Seth ‘Freaking’ Rollins is the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion after defeating AJ Styles in the opening match of Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia. But, now, as per the latest development, Rollins is set to return to WWE NXT where it all began for him. He was the first NXT champion.

Since then, he has seen many heights in the WWE industry by winning several championships. Notably, he went to NXT on a handful of occasions. But, now he is set for a  match in NXT where he will be seen defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker. Breakker challenged Rollins to come to NXT in a World Heavyweight Championship match at the conclusion of the June 6 episode of NXT.

So, on the June 13 episode of NXT, Seth Rollins made an appearance via video. There, he said that he is well aware of why Bron Breakker is doing all these. Rollins also claimed that it will be fun for him to make a comeback in NXT where it all began while he also accepted the challenge. Hence, Rollins will look to defend his WWE Heavyweight Championship against Breakker on the June 20 episode of NXT. However, Rollins is also set to defend his title next Monday on Raw in an open challenge.

While he will also face Finn Balor in a Heavyweight Championship match at Money in The Bank on July 1.  After that win at Night of Champions, on Twitter, Rollins wrote: “Solid way to kick off another go around the sun. WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION." Even, Triple H congratulated him as he wrote: "History made. An incredible “Freakin” match to kick off an epic #WWENOC. Congratulations to your new World Heavyweight Champion @WWERollins." After this win, Rollins is now a five-time champion. He also became the first person to win the WWE Championship, Universal Championship, and the new World Heavyweight Title.
