Australia explosive batter Travis Head also faced snubbing at the mini-auction. With a base price of INR 2 Crore, the right-hand batter had his work cut out from the get-go. Head had played 10 matches in the Indian T20 League so far and has scored 205 runs with a strike rate of 138.51.
Once the number one T20I batter, Malan found no takers at the Indian T20 League mini-auction on Friday. The batter has recently fallen down the charts and doesn’t fit the ‘explosive overseas player’ category for the Indian T20 League teams.
