‘SKY’ as he’s loving called by the cricketing fraternity has grabbed the opportunities with both hands ever since he made his T20I debut against England last year. The batter started his international career with a humongous ‘six’ as he hooked a speedy bouncer from Jofra Archer. In his 17 T20 innings, the right-handed batter has scored 537 runs at an average of 38.36 at a magnificent strike rate of 177 with 4 fifties and 1 century to his name. The wicketkeeper batter impressed everyone in the Indian T20 league as he scored 458 runs in 17 innings with a strike rate of 146 with 2 half-centuries. Samson also led the Rajasthan franchise to the final of the tournament as they ended up as the runners-up of the tournament. The batter only got one opportunity to play after the league and scored a blistering 77 off 42 balls. If given more chances, Samson could turn out to be an important match-winner in the tournament.
