Laver Cup 2022 has started with the inaugural match between Casper Ruud and Jack Sock. Ardent tennis fans are waiting to watch the Big 4 in action which includes the likes of greats like Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray. Notably, it will also be the last appearance in professional Tennis for Swiss superstar Roger Federer as he has already announced his retirement from tennis.
Apart from all this, Serbian superstar Novak Djokovic is also in the headlines for the last couple of months including his Wimbledon win against Australian star Nick Kyrgios. Recently, he has become the talk of the town for his unique reply to a journalist being asked about his perfect player.
I think already that kind of player is already pretty good - Novak Djokovic
The journalist asked Djokovic if he want to make his ultimate player, and what would be the skills he’d take from each of the big four to make that perfect man.
While answering this question, Djokovic came up with a very humble reply:
“Okay, so, Rafa's strength and I would say physical and mental strength. I would take Roger’s serve and forehand. I would take Andy Murray's defense and return, and I won't put myself in the mix, but I think already that kind of player is already pretty good,” said Djokovic to the journalist.
