One of the greatest Tennis players of all time- Novac Djokovic is currently plying his trade at the Serbia Open. Recently, he made headlines after fulfilling the dream of a six-year-old kid by training with him at the turf. Apparently, the young guy hails from Japan and traveled to Serbia from his home country just to meet his idol.
The six-year old recently took to his social media handle to post a video where he could be seen playing with Djokovic.
“Thank you for fulfilling Kojiro’s dream of ‘I want to go to Serbia, where my favourite Djokovic was born”, he captioned the post.

Meanwhile, Djokovic has been playing admirably in the ongoing Serbia Open. He is set to meet World Number 26 Karen Khachanov in the semi-final on Saturday.
“Generally I felt better than I did yesterday. Even though I was a set and a break down I felt game-wise that I took it up a level or two.” He said ahead of the start of the game.
“I muscled it out, I managed to physically just stay there with my opponent, yesterday and today. I was physically able to get into the position to have the momentum on my side.” he added.
Djokovic turned pro in the year 2003, Reflecting on his journey, since, he said, “Every stage of your career — especially after playing for 20 years on the Tour — has its differences in terms of how you approach things mentally. My life has changed so much over the last 10 years, and my body as well.”
For the unversed, Serbian professional tennis player. He is currently ranked world No. 1 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). He has been ranked world No. 1 for a record total of 366 weeks. and has finished as the year-end No. 1 a record seven times.
