The Indian team staged a remarkable comeback in the Test series, securing a resounding seven-wicket victory against South Africa and leveling the series 1-1. Additionally, this marks the second instance of India leveling a series on South African soil since 2011.
This Test match also marked the last International outing for South African skipper Dean Elgar. Earlier, Aiden Markram was seen dedicating his century to Elgar and post-match the former Indian skipper Virat Kohli was also seen giving Elgar a signed jersey with a message on it. This incident was a heartwarming gesture from the legendary Indian batter.
Earlier, in the second innings of South Africa, Virat was seen giving an arousing send-off to Elgar after he was dismissed. Virat was also seen hugging Elgar as he was walking back to the pavilion for one last time. Let us look at how Twitter has reacted to this gesture from the star India batter, Virat Kohli;
