Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty has praised Rohit Sharma's captaincy during the ODI World Cup 2023. Talking about the team, India won 10 games on the trot including the semifinal against New Zealand. They started their tournament with a win against Australia. However, the Men In Blue went on to lose the final against the same side to end their dream run on the low. With this, once again the team missed out on winning the World Cup.

Hardik Pandya replaces Rohit Sharma as MI captain
“Hardik Pandya announced as captain for the IPL 2024 season. Mumbai Indians today announced a significant leadership transition for the upcoming 2024 season. Renowned all-rounder Hardik Pandya is set to take the helm as the captain of the Mumbai Indians, succeeding its longest-serving, one of the most successful and loved captains the illustrious Rohit Sharma,” Mumbai Indians wrote in a statement on Instagram.
