Former India and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni was spotted at the Chennai airport on Saturday, October 21. Dhoni, who is currently away from cricket action, has been grabbing social media attention for his surprise public appearances and cool hairstyles. The legendary cricketer has now reached his second home, Chennai, but it is not clear what business he is here for.
Meanwhile, soon after the video of the wicketkeeper batter's arrival at the airport went viral on social media, Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan shared a picture with his "Mahi bhai". The right-arm spinner is currently in Chennai for his side's crucial clash against Pakistan at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Monday, October 23.
Dhoni is one of the most admired cricketers around the world and is a favourite of the Afghan spin wizard. Rashid took to his official handle on X and posted a picture with 'Captain Cool'. "Always a pleasure to meet you Mahi bhai," the 25-year-old wrote as the captain.

Can we see MSD at Chepauk stands on Monday?
After seeing Dhoni along with Rashid, fans are expecting the former to attend the 2023 World Cup match between Afghanistan and Pakistan. While it is not certain whether Dhoni will be attending the match, the Afghanistan all-rounder would surely have asked CSK's talisman for some tips. The Ranchi-born cricketer has immense playing experience in Chennai and who better to guide than him?
Meanwhile, the spin trio of Rashid Khan, Mujeeb-ur-Rahman, and Mohammad Nabi are expected to play a huge role in their upcoming clash. Chepauk pitch is known for assisting spinners and Pakistan batters will surely have a tough time. Although Afghanistan lost to New Zealand in their last match, the confidence they got from their historic win over defending champions England will not fade easily.
