Popular YouTuber Darren Jason Watkins Jr., widely known as IShowSpeed, has been ruling social media ever since he arrived in India for the 2023 ODI World Cup. Speed, who has a massive fan following across the globe, is a constant presence in major sporting events. A die-hard fan of Cristiano Ronaldo was present during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, and now India for the 2023 Cricket World Cup to support the home team and Virat Kohli.
In recent viral videos, Speed can be seen walking around various places around India wearing a Team India blue jersey that written batting stalwart Kohli's name on the back. It's no secret that this American YouTube streamer and rapper is an ardent Kohli fan. Meanwhile, Speed was also there to cheer for the Men in Blue and his favourite cricketer at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad during India's intense match against arch-rivals Pakistan on Saturday.
Speed was spotted in the stands of the world's largest stadium, being part of the 'blue sea'. Among the many videos circulating on social media of Speed supporting India from the stadium, one that stood out was his Cristiano Ronaldo celebration after Kohli hit a boundary with a cover drive. Pakistan were bowled out for less than 200 runs after a spirited display by the Indian bowlers and their batters turned to do more damage in the second innings.
Speed celebrates Kohli's trademark cover drive with a 'Siiuuu' celebration
Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill started strongly, hitting boundaries and scoring at a rapid pace. However, Gill had to depart off Shaheen Afridi's delivery in the third over, which brought Kohli into the middle. The No. 3 batter opened his account with a single but was soon followed by a trademark cover drive shot off the last ball of the fifth over for a boundary against Pakistan's premier left-arm pacer.
Speed was one of the thousands who flocked to the stadium to witness Kohli's master shot, and he celebrated in style. The 18-year-old was seen doing Ronaldo's famous 'Siiuuu' celebration as soon as the ball touched the boundary line. Notably, Kohli is also a fan of the Portugal superstar. Many have compared the former Indian skipper to Ronaldo for his fitness and dominance in the game.

Talking about the match, India crushed Pakistan by seven wickets, making it look like a one-sided affair. All five Indian bowlers took two wickets each to restrict Pakistan to 191/10 in 42.5 overs. In reply, skipper Rohit led from the front with a blazing 86-run knock. Kohli was dismissed after making 16 off 18 balls. However, Shreyas Iyer (53* off 62) and KL Rahul (19* off 29) got the team through in the 31st over.
