Australia's opening batter David Warner continues to dominate Pakistan in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023. In the three ODI he played against the 1992 winners, he scored as many hundreds. However, after being put into bat, the Kangaroos could have lost an early wicket in the form of Warner. In the fifth over of the game, the two-time World Cup winner skied a shot in the air.

He looked like getting with ODI World Cup debutant, Usama Mir at mod-on. However, to the shock of everyone, the leg-spinner, Mir dropped a dolly and the team's body language right after this was negative. After this incident, even though Shaheen Afridi bowled a maiden, the other bowlers were getting his by Warner and Mitchell Marsh, who put together 259 runs for the first wicket.

Both batters reached their ODI hundred in the same over against Mohammad Nawaz. Meanwhile, the first one to reach their landmark was Warner, who imitated the Pushpa-like celebration, that has always been equated with Allu Arjun, an Indian actor.

Talking about the left-hander, he continues to go against the Pakistani bowlers. After the first wicket partnership with Marsh was broken at 259, Glenn Maxwell, who plays for RCB in the IPL, was promoted but lasted only one ball. The former Australia skipper Steve Smith (7) had another failure in the tournament. On the other hand, Warner, who scored two 150s (one in 2015 against Afghanistan and second against Bangladesh in 2019), continues to do well.

If everything goes well, he might become the first Aussie to score a double hundred in ODI cricket. Only D'Arcy Short is the one to score a double hundred but that came in a List A game down under. Australia have reached 317/3 in 41.5 overs
