Cricket prankster Daniel Jarvis aka Jarvo recently gained attention with another pitch invasion during the 2023 ODI World Cup match between India and Australia. Wearing an Indian blue jersey with the number 69 on the back, the English YouTuber breached security in the first innings and stormed onto the field.
Interestingly, Jarvo himself uploaded this video on the internet to entertain his viewers. Mohammed Siraj was first seen asking Jarvo to stop, he avoided it and ran onto the pitch where a fuming KL Rahul walked up to him and asked him to leave. The wicketkeeper was seen saying something to the pitch invader before security intervened and took him off the ground.
A new video which is now viral on social media shows Rahul losing his cool at Jarvo and unleashing a verbal barrage while asking him to leave the field. The 31-year-old was heard saying, “It’s not for you; that place is for you (pointing towards the crowd). Go f*#k off, stop coming everywhere.”

Rahul is known for his calmness and composure on and off the field. However, this time he couldn't contain his anger. Meanwhile, star Indian batter Virat Kohli also approached Jarvo and forced him to leave the ground. The prankster later claimed that Kohli complimented him on his 'vlogging' and urged him to leave the ground. "Jarvo, bro I love your video but this has got to stop now," Jarvo quoted Virat as saying.
Jarvo gets banned from attending further World Cup matches
However, the Cricket Governing Body took serious action by banning the pitch invader from attending any of the further World Cup matches. "The individual concerned has been banned from attending any further games at the event and the matter is in the hands of the Indian authorities," the Governing Body spokesperson stated when PTI enquired about the incident.
"The safety and security of everyone involved in the Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 is our priority. We will work with the venue to understand what happened and consider if any additional security measures are required to prevent it happening again," the spokesperson added.
