'Supporting team India or..?' - Fans react as Sara Tendulkar seen in stands during match between India and Sri Lanka in ODI WC 2023

Sachin Tendulkar's daughter Sara Tendulkar was seen in stands in Mumbai's Wankhede stadium during the match between India and Sri Lanka in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023.

Sara Tendulkar was seen in the stands during the match between India and Sri Lanka. As India is on a winning streak of 6 wins in a row, they will be hoping to extend their winning streak to 7 wins in a row with a win over Sri Lanka in Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. India has surged forward in its pursuit of winning the game in Mumbai.

Batting first, India lost the big wicket of Rohit Sharma, who was dismissed by Dilshan Madushanka in the second ball of the first over in the match. Madushanka bowled a peach of a delivery to dismiss Rohit early. India then recovered from the bad start, thanks to a good partnership between Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill. The two batters played some wonderful shots and helped India to make a comeback in the match. 

The duo scored a fifty each and looked all set for big ones. That was when the fortunes of the two batters went bad. As they approached closer towards the milestone of a hundred, they threw away their wickets. The two batters were dismissed in quick succession. It brought the two new batters in the middle, Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul, who are on their way to revive India's innings again.

Dilshan Madushanka on fire

So far in the match, Madushanka has been the best performer. Earlier with the new ball, the left-arm pacer troubled the likes of Rohit, Virat, and Gill. He got the wicket of Rohit and then threatened to get another one. Indian batters luckily survived the tricky early phase in the game. As the partnership between Gill and Virat seemed good for a big one, Madushanka came back for another spell. 

The Sri Lankan bowler dismissed both the set batters in a matter of few overs. So far, all the wickets from Sri Lanka have come to him. For Gill, Madushanka bowled a slower bouncer. Gill tried to uppercut it, but could not get the elevation and was dismissed in the process. For Virat, Madushanka bowled a slower one and induced an edge, as he was caught in the covers region.
