As Australia needs 213 runs to beat South Africa, a great coincidence comes into play. It's worth noting that in the 1999 World Cup semifinal, Australia faced South Africa in Birmingham. After batting first, Australia posted 213/10 in 49.2 overs. Michael Bevan and Steve Waugh were two-star batters. In response, South Africa also scored 213/10 in 49.4 overs and failed to qualify for the finals.

In today's game, the Temba Bavuma-led team has an opportunity to avenge the 1999 World Cup defeat. The team will need to take wickets and create pressure on the Australian batting line-up to meet India in the finals of the ongoing tournament. The final will take place at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 19 in the presence of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
