The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 9 is going on and the fans are going crazy with every passing day. The first week ended on a high with a doubleheader on October 12, Wednesday. Bengaluru Bulls took on Bengal Warriors in the first match, while Dabang Delhi and UP Yoddhas crossed swords in the second game.
The winner of the second match, Dabang Delhi reached the top spot while the winner of the first, Bengal Warriors ended up in second place. Haryana Steelers, who have won all two matches that they have played in the tournament so far, stand third on the list. The table toppers are yet to lose a match in the tournament while the Warriors have lost one of the three matches.
Bengaluru Bulls, who lost to the Warriors with a scoreline of 33-42, remain fifth on the points table with 10 points to their name. The Yoddhas, on the other hand, lie just below the Bulls with 7 points, losing two of their three clashes so far.

Commenting on the first match, the Warriors won it and it was Maninder Singh who took the team home with 11 points. The winning team looked in fiery touch as they managed to bag 2 super raid points in contrary to the Bulls’ 0.
On the other hand, for the Bulls, Bharat top-scored for the team with his 8 points. However, the Bulls collapsed in the end and ended up losing the thriller.
The second match turned out to be a cracker as well as Delhi won it with a scoreline of 42-44. However, the match was a nail-biter as it would have gone either way in the end. Surender Gill, the star from the Yoddhas, put on a courageous fight and bagged 21 points to his name.
However, Delhi’s collective effort ensured the team crossed the line with a margin of 2 points. The confident win pushed them to the top on the points table and they hold the crown with 15 points.
