Pro Kabaddi League 2023-24: Points and team ranking after Chennai leg

Puneri Paltan retained their No. 1 spot with a commanding 46-28 victory over Patna Pirates (PAT) on Tuesday.

The fourth leg of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2023-24 kicked off on December 22 with home team Tamil Thalaivas taking on Patna Pirates. A total of 11 matches were played over the next five days in the Chennai leg of the 10th edition. All the 12 teams have put up a spirited display, with Puneri Paltan (PUN) continuing on top with 31 points from 7 matches. 

Paltan retained their No. 1 spot with a commanding 46-28 victory over Patna Pirates (PAT) on Tuesday. Having won six matches and lost one, PUN currently have 31 points from seven matches. Meanwhile, Pirates have slipped from eighth to ninth place and have 17 points from seven matches. 

Jaipur Pink Panthers (28 points), Gujarat Giants (28 points), Haryana Steelers (26 points), Bengal Warriors (22 points), U Mumba (21 points), and Bengaluru Bulls (19 points) are placed between second and seventh in the PKL 2023 standings.

Each team is awarded five points for a win, while a team that loses by three seven or fewer points is awarded one point. Both teams in a draw will get three points each. After the Chennai leg, the action moves to Noida for the fifth leg.
