PKL 2022: Day 6, Full Review, Surender Gill's efforts went in vain as UP Yoddhas lost by a close margin against Dabang Delhi

The sixth day of the Pro Kabaddi League 2022 witnessed two high-scoring matches between UP Yoddhas and Dabang Delhi K.C followed by the 15^th match of the tournament between Bengaluru Bulls and Bengal Warriors. Dabang Delhi and Bengal Warriors finished on the winning lines in their respective matches.

Both matches of the day were played at Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru. Both matches ended the high scoring encounters as three out of four teams scored more than 40 points in the match.

Highest Individual Successful Raids

Bengal skipper Maninder Singh shone for his team as he earned the highest number of individual points with 11 points to his name. Maninder registered a total of 10 successful raids in his account. Following Maninder, star Bengaluru raider Vikash Kandola was the second most successful raider of the match with eight successful raids and seven points to his name.

Highest Individual Successful Tackles

Bengal’s premier defender Girish Maruti ended up as the most successful defender of the match. He registered a total of five tackle points with five successful tackles to his name. He made these tackles in 10 attempts with the same number of unsuccessful tackles on his credit.

Result of the match – Bengal Warriors won the match by a margin of nine points.

Highest Individual Successful Raids

UP raider Surender Gill amazed and impressed everyone with his stellar performance in the match with 17 successful raids and 21 points to his name. He was the most successful raider of the match. But unfortunately, he ended up on the wrong side as UP lost this close encounter against Dabang Delhi by a margin of only two points.

Highest Individual Successful Tackles

Delhi’s defender Vishal earned four points in eight attempts with four successful raids and the same number of unsuccessful tackles to his name. He finished the 15^th match of the tournament as the most successful defender. It was because the points earned by Vishal created a difference in the favor of Dabang Delhi K.C
