It was the fifth day of the Pro Kabaddi League 2022, Haryana Steelers locked horns with Tamil Thalaivas whereas Patna Pirates took on Telugu Titans. Haryana Steelers won the 12th match of the tournament against Thalaivas followed by the victory of Telugu Titans in the 13th match of the league and the second match of the day.

Fans witnessed great competition in both matches at the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru. Haryana registered their second consecutive win in PKL 2022. On the other hand, Telugu Titans won the first match in their campaign during the ninth season of the tournament.

With said that, here we’ll have a look at the action of both matches on the fifth day of the Pro Kabaddi League 2022.

Highest Individual Successful Raids

Haryana’s star raider Manjeet shone in the match to help his team win the second successive match in the tournament. He ended up as the most successful raider in the match. Manjeet achieved a total of five successful raids in 17 attempts with five unsuccessful and seven empty raids. Apart from his successful raids, Manjeet also showed his excellence in the defense with two successful tackles in two events.

Highest Individual Successful Tackles

Haryanvi defender Jaideep Dahiya created a difference in the match for his team with five successful tackles. He was also the most successful defender of the match. He registered these five successful tackles in a total of 10 attempts including five unsuccessful tackles in his credit. Following Dahiya, Tamil Thalaivas’ skipper Sagar was in the second position with four successful tackles to his name.

Result of the match – Haryana Steelers won the match by a margin of five points.

Highest Individual Successful Raids

Monu Gayat of Telugu Titans finished as the most successful raider in the third match of his team in the ongoing season of the Pro Kabaddi League. Desai earned a total of 10 points with seven touchpoints and two bonus points to his name. He also achieved seven successful raids. His teammate Siddharth Desai followed him with six successful raids with two bonuses and five touchpoints.

Highest Individual Successful Tackles

Patna’s defender Sunil registered the highest number of successful tackles and finished the match being the most successful defender. Sunil earned four tackle points four successful tackles in six attempts also having two unsuccessful tackles in his account.

Result of the Match – Telugu Titans won the match by nine points.
