PKL 2022: Day 10, Full Review, Narender Hoshiyar leads Tamil Thalaivas to their first win of the tournament

On the 10th day of the ongoing Pro Kabaddi League 2022, two matches were played. The first game was played between Tamil Thaliavas and Patna Pirates. Both teams were looking for their first win of the tournament. Notably, the Pirates are the most successful team in the tournament with three titles. On the other hand, the Thalaivas are yet to appear in the playoffs.

Meanwhile, the second game of the day was played between the defending champions, Dabang Delhi K.C and Haryana Steelers. Talking about the title holders, they didn't lose any game before entering the game. On the other hand, the Steelers have had mixed form in the tournament. All-rounder Rohit Gulia scored 11 points in the game for Patna Pirates. Out of them, he scored 10 touch and a bonus point. Gulia had three unsuccessful and seven empty raids. He also tried his hand in the tackle but to no avail in his solitary tackle. However, his side went on to lose the game. On the other hand, Narender Hoshiyar, who has been doing well in the absence of skipper Pawan Sehrawat, scored nine raid points in the game. Out of them, seven were touch and the rest were bonus points. The former was the highest scorer for the Thalaivas.

Highest Individual Successful Tackles

The defender from the losing side was the highest scorer for Patna. Sunil scored four points in the game. He had four successful tackles and three unsuccessful ones to his name. Notably, he was shown a green card which kept him out of the game for five minutes.

Naveen Kumar carried his dream form once again with the 15 raid points. Out of them, nine were touch and the rest were bonus points. This proved effective for the team in the end as his side won by a whisker.

Vijay Kumar scored four tackle points and was the highest scorer in the defense from both teams. He had three successful and two unsuccessful, and a super tackle to his name. Notably, he was given the green card in the 36th minute of the game. However, that didn't prove costly for the team.
