In an innings that combined class and mass, KL Rahul smashed a scintillating 132* off 69 deliveries. The Punjab Kings (PBKS) opener showcased his excellent batting skills against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Dubai in the 2020 edition.

Legendary AB de Villiers owns the record of fourth highest score in IPL. The swashbuckling South African cricketer hammered 133* (59) against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium in IPL 2015. He was ruthless against a bowling unit that included Lasith Malinga, Jasprit Bumrah, and Harbhajan Singh. 

3. Quinton De Kock - 140* vs KKR

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) opener Quinton de Kock hammered the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) bowlers in IPL 2022 to set the highest score in the league's history. While stitching a 210-run opening stand with KL Rahul, the Proteas superstar smashed a brutal 140* (70) with 10 sixes and as many fours. 

2. Brendon McCullum - 158*  vs RCB

The second-highest individual score belongs to former New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum. But the fact that this record was set 16 years ago is quite unbelievable. McCullum lit up the cash-rich league with a sensational 158* off 73 deliveries for Kolkata Knight Riders. The RCB bowlers were smashed all around the park as the right-hander hit 10 4s and 13 6s.

1. Chris Gayle - 175* vs Pune Warriors 

Caribbean Storm Chris Gayle holds the record for the highest individual score in an IPL innings. It was raining sixes at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore during IPL 2013 when RCB took on Pune Warriors XI. The RCB opener displayed some ruthless hitting to score 175* off just 66 deliveries. A blazing knock, that helped RCB post a record total of 263 for 5 in 20 overs, included 13 fours and 17 monstrous sixes.
