On Tuesday, a personal highlight was marked to end the year on a high. Sunrisers Hyderabad made Pat Cummins the first ever INR 20 Crore buy in the history of the league. Brought for INR 20.5 Crores, Pat Cummins was the costliest buy during the early stages of IPL Mini Auction 2024.

Pat Cummins only had a few hours to bask in the glory of his highlight till it was smashed by his teammate. IPL Mini Auction 2024 saw a new record being set on Tuesday. Mitchell Starc was brought for INR 24.75 Crores by Kolkata Knight Riders much to the delight and astonishment of everyone present in the room and on social media. The left-arm pacer is now the costliest ever player in the history of the league.
