Five-time champion Mumbai Indians (MI) are gearing up for an action-packed start to their IPL 2024 campaign. They will start with an intriguing clash against the Gujarat Titans (GT) on March 24. The partial schedule for the IPL 2024 was recently unveiled, confirming the fixtures for the first two weeks of the competition scheduled to begin on March 22.
Hardik Pandya, the dynamic all-rounder, will lead MI in their opening encounter against his former franchise, setting the stage for a captivating battle. Following the away fixture against GT, MI will hit the road again, travelling to Hyderabad to face Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on March 27. The Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai will witness its first home game of the season on April 1, as MI takes on the Rajasthan Royals (RR).
April 7 marks a significant fixture for MI, where they will square off against the Delhi Capitals (DC) in a day match. The remainder of MI's matches in the initial schedule will feature a standard start time of 07:30 p.m. (IST), promising prime-time entertainment for fans.
