Following a comprehensive 4-1 T20I series victory, Team India will head to South Africa for an all-format tour. The Indian Cricket Board has announced three different squads for all three series and interestingly, will have three captains to lead the sides. Only three players - Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shreyas Iyer and Mukesh Kumar - have been picked in all three formats.

With Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli not participating in the white-ball series, Suryakumar Yadav will continue to lead the T20I team, while KL Rahul will fill the role in the 50-over format. The tour will kick-start with a three-match T20I series, starting on December 10. It will be followed by three ODIs, which will take place from December 17 to December 21.

Veteran duo Rohit and Kohli will join the red-ball series, which begins with the Boxing Day Test on December 26 and concludes with the second Test in Cape Town from January 3 to 7. A total of 31 different players have been selected across the three formats to don the Indian jersey in South Africa for a month-long tour.

Notably, all 10 Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises will see at least one of their players representing the country. Let's take a look at the IPL team-wise list of Indian players selected for the South Africa series. Shardul Thakur is the only player who is currently not part of any IPL team.
