Hyderabad FC moved to the top of the table with a narrow 1-0 win against FC Goa. An early goal by Javier Siverio separated the two sides at full-time. Although FC Goa maintained dominance and a possessional upper hand throughout the game, they failed to register a goal to take them up. The scoring woes for FC Goa were revealed as despite goal-mouth action there was no breakthrough.

After the game ended, Hyderbad FC reached the top of the table having won three out of their four matches while one game ended in a draw. On the other hand, Goa finished on the fourth position having won two out of their three games and losing one match.

Goa XI: Arshdeep Singh; Aibanbha Dohling, Marc Valiente, Anwar Ali, Seriton Fernandes; Edu Bedia, Ayush Dev Chhetri; Redeem Tlang, Brandon Fernandes, Noah Sadaoui; Iker Guarrotxena

Hyderabad were unchanged from last week's win over Bengaluru FC. FC Goa, on the other hand, made two changes - Ayush Chhetri and goalkeeper Arshdeep Singh were included in the starting XI, with Glan Martins and Dheeraj Moirangthem dropped to the bench.

The second half started with both sides showing greater urgency. Hyderabad FC were more aggressive, attempting to put Goa on the backfoot by overloading the flanks. In the dying stages of the game, Goa were given a penalty against the run of play. Akash Mishra went flying into the path of Vazquez in the box, and the striker took it upon himself to take the penalty, but his shot went wide.
