Team India might have lost the first Test match to England in Hyderabad, but there are plenty of positives. Jasprit Bumrah led the charge with the ball while young Indian star Jaiswal was the pick of the batters.
During the Test match, the cameras panned to an English fan wearing the Indian jersey. This left a lot of fans guessing who she is and now the answers have come out. The young lady in question is none other than Maddie Hamilton.
It is rumoured that Maddie Hamilton is dating star India player Yashasvi Jaiswal. The lady in question was seen cheering every run made by the young left-handed batter. Once the world spread people started getting more curious about the connection between the two.
Yashasvi Jaiswal’s old post goes viral
Maddie Hamilton’s belligerent and amazing support for Yashasvi Jaiswal has made fans create a link-up. A few social media users dug up an old post of Yashasvi Jaiswal where he could be seen clicking a Selfie with the family. Curiously cricketer Tilak Varma has also liked the post by Jaiswal.
Former India opener Wasim Jaffer has meanwhile asked Rohit Sharma to move to the number three position. The 46-year-old wants Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal to open the batting in Visakhapatnam.
Taking to Twitter Jaffer wrote “Gill and Jaiswal should open and Rohit should bat at number 3 during the second test in my opinion. Waiting to bat for his turn isn’t helping Shubman, it’s better he opens the innings. Rohit plays spin really well, so batting at number three should not worry him too much”
Team India has already lost the services of KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja for the next match. Sarfaraz Khan is more than likely to make his Test Debut and could bat at the number five spot with Shreyas Iyer moving to number four.
Washington Sundar and Saurabh Kumar are the other stars who have got a call-up. Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin will be the front-line spinners for India. The spinner option could go between UP teammates Kuldeep Yadav and Saurabh Kumar. Even Washington Sundar can come into the equation considering his ability to bat well.
