Sarfaraz Khan posted an Instagram story where he uploaded an image of him practising with Rohit Sharma ahead of the 2nd Test against England. In the practice session, Sarfaraz got to meet his favourite cricketer and mentioned his happiness. Khan took to his social media handle and posted the image of the practice session at Vizag ahead of the 2nd Test.

The talented batter made it to the Indian squad due to the injury of KL Rahul. The Mumbai batter was called in as the replacement for the star batter for the 2nd Test. Ahead of the big match, there is a debate regarding the choice of India in the 2nd Test as a replacement for Rahul. While Washington Sundar is a sure-shot replacement for Ravindra Jadeja, there are questions regarding Rahul's replacement.

The faceoff is between Rajat Patidar and Sarfaraz. Both are talented and can score runs on difficult wickets. Speaking about the same, Vikram Rathour claimed that it is difficult to pick one among the two batters in the playing XI. He added that the decision about the same would be taken by the captain and the head coach ahead of the 2nd Test.

In his Instagram story, Sarfaraz was seen doing fielding drills. It is good to note that Indian fielding was not up to the mark in the 1st Test. The attempt from the players seemed to be to improve the fielding. It is not the first time that Sarfaraz took the name of Rohit as his favourite player. In a recent interview before joining the Indian squad, Khan claimed the same. 

"Rohit Sharma is my favourite player," said Khan in the interview. The right-handed batter added that Sharma has very good pull shots. He added that in the dressing room of Mumbai, everyone talks about the three 200s of Rohit in ODIs. "He has got very good pull shots, even in my dressing room, everyone talks about the 3 double hundreds of Rohit," said Sarfaraz.
