With just a few days to go for the India vs England series, Rahul Dravid sat down and spoke to the media. One of the biggest questions asked was about India’s approach during the series.

Rahul Dravid said, “Our top six seven batsmen are naturally positive”. Over the last few series Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has been seen taking the positive route. With young Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill in the team, India has naturally attacking batters.

India’s Coach also said, “We know it’s going to be a challenge for them in these conditions. But I’m looking forward to see how our boys respond”. India also has Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul too have been in good form with the bat in recent times.

Earlier today Shreyas Iyer faced a small injury scare during the net practice session. The 29-year-old took some time off from practice as he was checked on by the medical team. Much to the relief of everyone Shreyas Iyer was back and started to bat without showing much discomfort.

Finally addressing the bowling attack, Rahul Dravid showed his confidence in Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin. “They’ve got some good experience. But it’s a really good opportunity for them to set some good markers”
