PlayStation 5 Pro is one of the hot topics of this year as fans eagerly await the new, even more powerful console from Sony. While the release is expected sometime in Q3, 2024, the recent Marvel’s Wolverine leak did turn up some interesting rumours.

What is AI upscaling?
AI upscaling is a method of using a lower-resolution image and building a higher-quality image using artificial intelligence. Furthermore, it also helps make images sharper and clearer. Nvidia was the first to announce this tech in their RTX series graphics card. AMD while new in this also released FSR 3 which uses similar tech (but different).
Along with better image quality, these teach are also used in frame generation, where the AI creates an artificial frame in between two frames that increases the number of frames.
PC games have received a huge boost from this tech as they helped reduce industry hardware limitations for modern games. Now the tech will be available in PS consoles which can further help in providing a better gaming experience.
