The League of Legends esports scene for 2024 is back with a format similar to the last year. The League European Championship (LEC) has also begun, with some changes to dates and how points are awarded.
A total of ten teams compete with each other in a round-robin format in a best-of-one (BO1) match for the LEC Winter Split. The top eight teams will then move forward to the Bracket Stage.
The Bracket Stage will feature double elimination between the eight teams. Rounds 1 and 2 are played as BO3 and all others as BO5. The winners will be qualifying for the MSI 2024 which will take place after the Spring Split.
