Games of the Future MLBB 2024; Teams and Format

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament, Games of the Future, is set to take place in February. The event features a massive prize pool of $1 million and 16 teams that will go toe-to-toe against each other.

The matches will be held in Kazan, Russia, and will feature teams from multiple nations. Group stages will run from February 26–27. All 16 teams participating in the tournament have also been revealed.

Format -

Teams will first have to qualify for the Grand Final Playoffs through the Group Stage. Only twelve teams will move to the Playoffs.

Group Stages - Teams will be divided into four groups of four teams. The top teams from each group will move directly to the quarter-finals. Teams in second and third position will move to the Playoffs in Round 1.

All matches played during Group Stages will be Bo3. The team in the fourth position is eliminated. Here are the group splits -

Playoffs - The winners of Group stages will get a direct spot for the quarter-finals. However, the second and third positions will have to earn their spot. Both teams from each group will battle, and the winner will move to the quarter-finals.

The entire Playoffs will be played in a single-elimination bracket. All matches will be Bo3 except the grand finals, which will be played as Bo5.
