There's a news of major setback for some racers before the Italian GP as they were charged with the penalties for Sunday’s race held at Monza. It includes the names of some heavyweight names like Carlos Sainz, Sergio Perez, and Lewis Hamilton. They were on the list of nine drivers on the receiving end of the penalty. Other than these three names, Max Verstappen was also on this list.

Leader of the World Championship Max Verstappen will have to face a penalty of a five-place grid during the Italian Grand Prix, other drivers who have been fined will also have to go through the drop in the grids for the race at Monza on Sunday.

Speaking about happened to use the fifth internal combustion engine (ICE) during the current season which was two more than the allowed number of three engines. The Dutch racer was fined a 10-place penalty when he used the fourth engine in the Belgian GP but the authorities were quite soft in punishment for his second fault.

Mercedes has already come up with a confirmation that veteran racer Lewis Hamilton will have to start his race from the back of the grid after completing the process of adding new parts. Whereas, other racers of Red Bull, Sergio Perez, and Carlos Sainz have also been slammed with penalties.

Apart from all this, Formula 1 has also paid its condolences to Queen Elizabeth II with a silence of a minute before the start of opening on Friday. Although, there will be some more tributes visually by various cars before Sunday’s race.
