WATCH: Unexpected happening for Manchester United as they missed a goal in four attempts

Manchester United didn’t have an expected outing in the English Premier League. They lost both two matches at the beginning of their campaign in the tournament. Later on, they won by a score line of 2-1 against Liverpool. Following the win against Liverpool, the fans had high expectations for United to make another outstanding outing.

In the recent match, Southampton hosted the Red Devils in the first match of the weekend. Things started becoming exciting for the fans in the first twenty minutes of the game. There were no clear chances for any team to win the match but things immediately started going in favor of Manchester United.

It all happened when Diogo Dalot collected the ball on his right side and passed it with a cross to Bruno Fernandes to score a goal. But Kyle Walker-Peters of Southampton blocked his effort from six yards out. Then on, it went to Anthony Elanga to the right side but his effort was blocked by Gavin Bazunu.

It was not over till the ball bounced for Fernandes again and Walker-Peters again went on to block his effort. Then it later fell for Christian Eriksen and he smashed a shot toward Armel Bella-Kotchap, eventually, it got blocked from a goal.

Manchester United is in a conundrum regarding legendary footballer Cristiano Ronaldo
