Chennaiyin FC and FC Goa locked horns in the 12th match of the Indian Super League 2022. The hosts Chennai came with a lineup of 4-4-2 on the field whereas FC Goa was there in the middle with a lineup of 4-2-3-1. The match started with the first whistle from the referee Pranjal Banerjee, the match was only in the 10th minute when Indian right winger Redeem Tlang came up with a stunner to start the proceedings in favor of FC Goa. Tlang was assisted by none other the 29-year-old international Noah Sadaoui. Goa took the lead of 1-0 at the very beginning of the match.
The visitors maintained this lead till half-time and entered the field with this lead in the second half. The Chennai struggled the entire time to open their account of goals with having 19 shots on target. But unfortunately, they couldn’t capitalize on the made chances.
Now, the match was almost about to end, and in the second minute of the injury time after the end of all 90 minutes. This time the Moroccan left-winger Noah Sadaoui came up with a mind-blowing goal to secure a winning lead for FCG. Noah was assisted by young Indian right-winger Makan Chothe for this brilliant goal.
