Durand Cup 2022 is almost nearing the end and the teams have started to qualify for the next round. On Friday (2nd September) it will be a doubleheader as NorthEast United will take on Sudeva Delhi in Guwahati first and Mohammedan SC will take on Bengaluru FC in Kolkata later on.

In the first match of the doubleheader, NorthEast United will take on Sudeva Delhi. Both teams have had a poor outing and neither team has won a match yet. NorthEast United lost their last clash against Kerala Blasters 0-3 and was poor right throughout the match.

Mohammedan SC vs Bengaluru FC
Mohammedan SC is unbeaten this season and will take on Bengaluru FC in their final encounter. The team has been fantastic and won their previous encounter against Indian Air Force 2-1 on August 27th. Their greatest win this season came against Jamshedpur FC when they defeated the latter with a score line of 3-0.
On the other hand, Bengaluru FC lost their first encounter against Jamshedpur FC and their greatest win of the season came against Indian Air Force 4-0 at Kishore Bharati Stadium on August 23rd. The team will look the emulate the same energy from the last two matches and look to clinch a win on Friday. Both teams have already qualified for the next round and will play the match only for pride.
