Manchester City is currently enjoying their dream run in the ongoing season of the Premier League. They have been unbeaten in the tournament so far. All participating teams have lost to the blues except Arsenal and Tottenham. Notably, City has played five matches and won four matches out of those, they played their only draw against Newcastle.

Recently, City locked horns with Nottingham Forest yesterday on August 31 (Wednesday) and completely outplayed them to win the match by a mammoth margin of 6-0. Everybody was stunned there as the blues were dominating from the first half, all thanks to the hat-trick of young lad Erling Haaland.

Other than Haaland, Joao Cancelo and Julian Alvarez scored the remaining three goals as Alvarez registered a double to his name. Citizens also dominated the possession as their 9 shots out of 17 went straight on the target. The Forest was completely outclassed in the match and everybody was stunned there at Etihad stadium.

The score line with which City has won is something every team dreams to achieve and the blues are on the seventh heaven with their amazing start in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola heaped his praises on Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland

Later on, the manager of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola talked about the performances of the newly signed strikers of the team. He went on to praise both Julian Alvarez and the 22-year-old Norwegian center-forward Erling Haaland. Guardiola gave all the credit for City’s massive victory to these two football superstars.

He said that nobody can teach you the skills and their talents are very natural. He also felt very pleased with the performance of the team.

“Julian and Erling have a sepcial sense like all good strikers. This is natural, it’s difficult to buy or to teach. You have to ‘buy’ of course but it’s difficult to teach this kind of role. The two goals from Julian are amazing and Erling again, two hat-tricks in a row. His mentality is contagious for the team and I am very pleased with everything,” said Guardiola while praising Haaland and Alvarez.
