Day 9 of the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham ended as a historic one for the Indian contingent. Indian athletes shone brightly and bagged a total of 14 medals on the ninth day of the Birmingham Games. Wrestlers came up with another glorified outing for the Indian contingent.
Apart from this para table tennis Bhavina Patel also bagged a gold medal in the final of her category. Overall, Indian athletes ended the day with four gold medals alongside three silver titles and seven bronze medals. Along with the wrestlers and other athletes, the Indian men’s hockey team also made another time into the finals of the Commonwealth Games 2022.
