Yuzvendra Chahal, Jos Buttler engage in a hilarious banter

Rajasthan have a made rollicking start to their Indian T20 League 2022 campaign. On Saturday, they registered their second consecutive win in the tournament after beating Mumbai by 23 runs. Jos Buttler set up the win with a sensational 100-run knock in just 68 runs. His ton helped the team reach a formidable score of 193 runs in the first innings. Besides, the likes of Sanju Samson (30 off 21) and Shimron Hetmyer (35 off 14) also made valuable contributions with the bat.

With that ton, Jos Buttler also became the third batter after Ben Stokes and Yusuf Pathan to score a hundred against Mumbai in the Indian T20 League. In pursuit of that total, Mumbai fell 23 runs short of the target.

They were restricted to 170 runs in the second innings. Yuzvendra Chahal, once again, was the pick of the bowlers for Rajasthan. He picked the crucial wickets of Daniel Sams and Tim David to leave Mumbai in all sorts of trouble. With that win, Rajasthan currently finds themselves at the top of the table with two wins in as many matches.

And his recent conversation with Jos Buttler in a video chat has once again left everyone in splits. Chahal, who is known to crack light-hearted jokes, asked a hilarious question to Jos Buttler. He asked the English cricketer if he feels confident opening the batting knowing that he himself mostly bats at No. 8 or 9. To this, Jos Butter replied cheekily.

He said, "Absolutely! Ever since you turned up this year, you have been putting pressure on the opening spot. Have to take my time to score some runs to keep you on the outside."
