Kohli was one of the overnight batters along with Ravindra Jadeja after day one. Then, he was only 13 runs short of his century. During that day, the Windies wicketkeeper, Joshua Da Silva was found having a chat with Kohli from behind the stumps. He claimed that his mother is a big Virat Kohli fan and came to the stadium only to see her favourite cricketer.

Da Silva said: “My mom told me on the phone that she’s coming to see Virat and not me. That’s literally what my mom said. I couldn’t believe it. I don’t blame her, to be honest. She’s right up there watching.” Apart from all these, Silva and Kohli had some light banter regarding the game while the Windies wicketkeeper also accepted himself as a fanboy of the former Team India skipper. But, now a video went viral where Da Silva’s mother was seen meeting with Kohli after the play on day two. She met with him before the team bus of India left the stadium.

She hugged and kissed Kohli while taking some adorable pictures too. After the meeting, she was in tears also. Seeing that, fans shared their views on social media. Speaking of the match, Virat Kohli was the highest scorer for India with 121 runs off 206 balls, including 11 fours. For the Windies, both Kemar Roach and Jomel Warrican took three wickets each. Currently, the home side are trailing by 352 runs with nine wickets in hand. Both Kraig Braithwaite and Kirk McKenzie will kick off the proceedings on day three.
