Team India are currently busy playing the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. This series is very crucial for the Men in Blue in order to get qualified for the final of the World Test championship. However, all fans were excited to see Suryakumar Yadav in the squad for the series. He even made his Test debut in the first match of the series in Nagpur. But, after that, he did not get a chance in the last three matches as India are currently playing the last match in Ahmedabad.

However, still, they are not officially qualified for the final of the World Test Championship as they are leading the series by 2-1. But, now the broadcaster named Star Sports came up with a promo where they promoted the WTC final along with images of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Suryakumar Yadav. Fans were in shock to see Suryakumar Yadav in that promo and came up with their views on the social media platform.

Speaking of India’s chances, the Men in Blue need to win this ongoing Ahmedabad Test against the Aussies to book their place in the WTC final. But, if they suffered a dar or loss, then they have to wait for the final results of the ongoing Test series between New Zealand and Sri Lanka. The Lankans have a chance to get qualified for the final if they managed to win the series by 2-0 over the Kiwis. So, India have to pray for a draw or win in atleast one of two matches of that series from the Kiwis. 

So, fans were in shock to see that promo even before the official confirmation of team India getting qualified for the final. They were in more shock to see Suryakumar Yadav in the promo despite having other experienced and senior players in the team, like Cheteshwar Pujara and Ravichandran Ashwin. Fans were not happy and they started to troll the Mumbai batter heavily for being featured in that promo. Suryakumar Yadav failed to score big in his Test debut as he got out for just eight runs.
