The Legends League Cricket Masters is going on in Qatar as former cricketers are there to represent teams. On 18 March, Asia Lions took on India Maharajas in the eliminator. Both teams were looking for a win to get into the final. However, Shahid Afridi led his team to victory and now, Asia Lions will take on the World Giants in the final.

Now, a video has gone viral where Shahid Afridi was seen giving an autograph on an Indian flag. The video indicated that an Indian security officer saw the former Pakistan skipper and gave him the flag in order to get an autograph. It seemed that Afridi gave the autograph just before leaving the stadium in the team bus.

Shahid Afridi has enjoyed a decent tournament so far with his all-round contributions. He has scored 41 runs along with three wickets with the ball. He also won both times against Gautam Gambhir-led India Maharajas as the skipper. So, fans were happy to see them knocking out Gautam Gambhir and his men out of the competition. Speaking of the eliminator match, Afridi won the toss and opted to bat first. They put up a solid score of 191 runs for five wickets in 20 overs. Afridi scored just unbeaten one run while Upul Tharanga was the highest scorer with 50 runs off 31 balls. 

For the Maharajas, both Stuart Binny and Pragyan Ojha took two wickets each while Pravin Tambe took one wicket each. In reply, India Maharajas’ batters failed to build a few solid partnerships and they got bundled out for just 106 runs in 16.4 overs. Shahid Afridi took one wicket also and led his team to an 85-run victory. However, regarding the viral video, some fans were not happy and they slammed the former Pakistan skipper on the social media platform. Some fans also blamed that Indian person to give that flag to Shahid Afridi.
