Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill have enjoyed a great match so far in the fourth Test against Australia in Ahmedabad. In reply to Australia’s first innings score of 480 runs, the Men in Blue scored 571 runs in their first innings. Thus, they managed a lead of 91 runs and both Gill and Kohli’s knocks were crucial.

Shubman Gill scored his second Test ton as he smashed 128 runs off 235 balls. Along with him, Virat Kohli also notched up his 28th Test ton in this match. This century in the longest format of the game came after a long gap of 1205 days for team India. It was also his 75th international century across all three formats.

In this Ahmedabad Test, Kohli scored 186 runs off 364 balls. After such a marathon inning, Kohli also became the highest run-scorer for the home side in this BGT. He has scored 297 runs in six innings, with an average of 49.50. But, now an image has gone viral on social media platforms where Virat Kohli was seen kicking Shubman Gill from behind during the Test in Ahmedabad. It seemed like the former team India skipper was having some fun with such an action. But, fans came up and shared some funny angles. Some fans also claimed that Kohli should not behave like that with a youngster like Gill.

Speaking about both of them, Gill has enjoyed a great spell in his career in recent months. He has scored atleast one century in all three formats. On the other hand, Virat Kohli showed a great comeback in the form in both the white-ball formats by the end of 2022. But, he was struggling in the red-ball format.
