Both Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard were part of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) respectively. Bravo was working as the bowler coach of CSK while Pollard was working as the batting coach of MI. Meanwhile, after winning the IPL 2023, CSK have now become the joint-most IPL winner in the history of the tournament.
Both MI and CSK have five trophies to their names. But, now Bravo shared a video on Instagram where he was having a funny banter with Pollard in a car about the IPL trophies. He also claimed himself more accomplished T20 player than Pollard for winning the most T20 trophies so far worldwide. Seeing that, fans went crazy and shared their views.

“I hope my best friend Kieron Pollard is watching.” - Dwayne Bravo after IPL 2023 Final win
Speaking of the video, Bravo shared a cheeky caption also as he wrote: “Can someone help me settle this debate. Apparently the LLORD @kieron.pollard55 believes that his team is the most successful IPL team. Let the record show that @chennaiipl is the most successful IPL team. Furthermore, he @kieron.pollard55 wants to talk about trophies. Let the records show AGAIN this is now my 17th title while @kieron.pollard55 you are still on #15. You have some serious catching up to do. Put some respect on my name please. Thank you very much #sirchampion.” Both these players have been great T20 players over the years and now, they are serving franchises as coaches.
Even, after the win in the final, Bravo took a dig at Pollard. He said: “It's a great journey, and I've got to give credit to our entire bowling unit and also coach Eric Simons. It's a great combination between Eric and myself, and we're proud to see this young bowling group go out and showcase their talent. I hope my best friend Kieron Pollard is watching. He has some catching up to do.” However, it is not the first time they are having such banter on and off the field. During their playing days for these franchises, fans always loved to see them competing against each other.

There is one thing. CSK can win IPL without Bravo. But MI cannot win IPL without Pollard. So far MI has won 0 IPL without Pollard.
