We'll enjoy tonight and then have our sights set on the next match: Logan van Beek
However, little did he know that the game will be changed soon as when he came to bowl the super over, he was thrashed by Logan van Beek for 30 runs in the super over. Chasing the target, Windies could only score 8 runs and lost their 2 wickets. Meanwhile, Van Beek talked about the hard work they have put in over the last 18 months in the post-match presentation.
“The culture we've built over the last 18 months. We played a lot of Super League games last year and we were at the other end of the beatings. Nonstop, nonstop, nonstop. The amount of learning this group's had. And to come here, in a crunch time to give ourselves a chance to go to the World Cup is huge. We'll enjoy tonight and then have our sights set on the next match.” Van Beek was quoted by Cricbuzz.
