'Ye privilege sirf Rishabh Pant ko milega yaa bcci ke normal worker ko bhi' - Fans not impressed with Indian Cricket Board's gesture for injured wicketkeeper-batter

In a major development, the Indian Cricket Board has decided to airlift the star Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant. He would be taken from Max Hospital of Dehradun to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambai Hospital and Medical Research Institute of Mumbai in an air ambulance to provide him with additional medical care.

The Indian Cricket Board also cleared the air on the plans made for taking Rishabh Pant from Dehradun to Mumbai.

Meanwhile, the senior Indian sports journalist K Shriniwas Rao happened to tweet a message for the Indian Cricket Board that was sort of a thank note.

“Well done Indian Cricket Board, Board secretary Jay Shah has just approved an air ambulance for Rishabh Pant to be flown from the Max Hospital facility in Dehradun to the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. Good gesture Jay Shah” read the tweet posted by KSR on his official Twitter handle.

Although this tweet didn’t go down well with a section of the Indian Cricket Board and they looked unimpressed even after this gesture from the Board secretary Jay Shah. Even the fans weren’t ready to consider it as a ‘gesture’.

They immediately took to Twitter to come up with some hard and harsh questions for the Indian Cricket Board the latter would do the same when a normal work of the Board will be injured or is it only for the Grade A contracted players like Pant?

Here's how fans reacted:

Talking about cricket, the Indian Cricket Team is currently playing in the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka. Both teams will play the second match of this series on Thursday, the 5th of January. The injured wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant was supposed to be back with the team for the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka followed by a white-ball assignment against New Zealand.

But the mishap that happened with him has reduced the chances of his comeback even for the next three to four months including his absence from the Indian T20 League as well.
