‘Yahi khake haarenge Rajasthan se’ - Fans react to viral video of Nicholas Pooran and his LSG teammates enjoying Rajasthani Dal Baati ahead of RR Clash in IPL 2023

Rajasthan Royals (RR) are going to play against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the ongoing IPL on 19 April 2023. RR are currently at the top of the table while LSG are in the second spot. So, an enthralling battle awaits fans in Jaipur as Sanju Samson and his men will look to continue their form in front of the home crowd.

Now, ahead of the clash, LSG players were seen enjoying some time. A video has gone viral where Ravi Bishnoi invited Nicholas Pooran and Avesh Khan for having Rajasthani special food, Dal Baati. Players were seen happily enjoying the food and fans shared their views on social media.

Nicholas Pooran hit the headlines this season after his blistering match-winning knock against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Chinnaswamy Stadium. His knock helped LSG to chase down 213 runs. As of now, Pooran has scored 141 runs in five matches, at a strike rate of 216.92. In that RCB clash, he notched up the fastest fifty of this season in just 15 balls. 

After that knock, Pooran said: “The wicket was really nice to bat on. It was all about cashing in and getting the execution right. My second ball went for a six so it put me in a nice position. I've been working really hard on my game. This is where I want to be. I spent the last couple of years frustrating myself trying to win games for my team. I'm in a really good space, I'm in a really good state of mind and I just want to enjoy cricket. Have fun, keep a smile, and do what's needed for my team." On the other hand, Ravi Bishnoi has picked up eight wickets in five matches so far while Avesh Khan has picked up three wickets in four matches.
