Former Indian T20 League chairperson, Lalit Modi is in news once again. Recently, he announced on social media that he is dating Sushmita Sen. After the announcement, the Twitter went bonkers. Apparently, till last year, she was dating Rohman Shawl. The duo broke up in 2021. Meanwhile, the former miss universe is yet to confirm the relationship.

Indian T20 League fans, who are following the league from the inaugural season, might remember Modi. He is the first chairperson of the cash-rich league and the founder as well. The 58-year-old served as the chairperson for three seasons. He became the vice-president of the Indian Cricket Board in 2005. Since then, he started working on the concept of the biggest T20 League.

Meanwhile, his end as a chairperson of the league came during the 2010 season. Apparently, after the two new teams were finalized for the next season, he was served a notice by the Indian Cricket Board. The end of third season also marked the end of Delhi-born businessman. A while ago, the former founder of the league claimed that Gujarat winning the title gives assurance that the tournament is clean.

Once again, he is in news but for non-cricketing reasons. Sen's brother Rajeev has said that he has no clue about the relationship. Meanwhile, Modi is living in London after he was accused of money laundering by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in 2015. Talking about his married life, his first wife was Minal Modi, who passed away battling cancer, aged 64 in 2018.

They have two kids, daughter named Aliya and a son named Ruchir. The latter worked in the Rajasthan Cricket Association for a while.
