'What the hell you talking about?' - Twitter bashes Mohammad Kaif for controversial tweet on Team India

India have been in superb form of late. When it comes to the longest format of the game, they look like a complete side. After losing the three-match Test series against South Africa earlier this year, they now beat Sri Lanka at home.

The two-match Test series turned out to be a rather one-sided affair, as the Rohit Sharma-led side proved just too good for the visitors. Thus, several people appreciated India for their performance. Many people spoke about the team's dominance in red-ball cricket.

Mohammad Kaif also took to Twitter to appreciate the team. However, he, unfortunately, landed in unwanted controversy. In his Tweet, he praised the team for "suddenly" looking like a strong unit under Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid.

"KL, Rohit, Vihari, Kohli, Iyer, Pant, Jadeja, Ash, Bumrah, Shami and many No.11 options ... Suddenly, it all looks fine. Under Rohit and Dravid, a world beating Test unit is taking shape." read Mohammad Kaif's Tweet. The fact that he gave the credit to Dravid and Sharma, and not Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri, didn't really sit well with many people.

Many fans mentioned the fact that the current team was built the Delhi batter and the 59-year-old. As a matter of fact, some fans also said that all the players mentioned in Kaif's Tweet made their debut during the Kohli-Shastri era. They felt that it was an insult to all the efforts put in by the duo during their time.

In the meanwhile, India will next be seen in whites during their tour to England. As the five-match Test series between the two teams in 2021 was incomplete, the fifth and final Test has been rescheduled, and will be played on July 1. With a spot in the World Test Championship (WTC) Final at stake, each and every game is important for the Asian side.

Here are some of the Tweets which bashed Mohammad Kaif
