India Legends and Sri Lanka Legends crossed their swords in the title clash of the Road Safety World Series 2022. Both teams played this match at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium in Raipur. India Legends’ skipper and former legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar won the toss and decided to bat first.
Batting first, the hosts posted a big total of 195 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs. While chasing the target, Sri Lankan Legends got bundled up only on the score of 162 runs in 18.5 overs and the match by 33 runs.

Furthermore, talking about the match, then India faced an early blow as skipper Sachin Tendulkar fell prey to Nuwan Kulasekara on the golden duck. Although, another opener Naman Ojha smashed a swashbuckling century of 108 runs off 71 balls with 15 boundaries and two sixes to his name. Other than Naman, Vinay Kumar played a crucial knock of 36 runs off 21 balls with four boundaries and a six on his credit.
Thanks to the brilliant knock of 108 runs, the Indians posted a decent total of 195 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Nuwan Kulasekara scalped three wickets in three overs alongside two and one wickets claimed by Isuru Udana and Ishan Jayaratne respectively.
While chasing the target, the Sri Lankan team had a terrible start as they lost four wickets only on the score of 41 runs. Ishan Jayaratne scored a half-century knock of 51 runs off just 22 balls with four boundaries and four sixes to his name. Mahela Udawatte and Jeevan Mendis scored 26 and 200 runs respectively.
Eventually, the Indian bowling attack bundled up the Sri Lankan team on the score of 162 runs in 18.5 overs. Vinay Kumar and Abhimanyu Mithun scalped three wickets and two wickets respectively to win the match for India Legends by 33 runs.
