The former Indian cricketer, Gautam Gambhir is currently making headlines due to a heated controversy with ex-pacer S Sreesanth. The clash between the two two-time World Cup champions unfolded during the Legends League Cricket match between India Capitals and Gujarat Giants. The on-field altercation escalated off the pitch, with Sreesanth taking to Instagram, alleging that Gambhir had referred to him as a 'fixer,' mocking him for his involvement in the 2013 IPL spot-fixing case.
The former India player is always known for his straightforward comments on the game and fellow cricketers. Gambhir has once again grabbed attention with a viral video on social media, featuring another surprising statement. In a video that gained widespread attention from Sportskeeda, Gambhir was posed with the dilemma of picking between two football legends: Cristiano Ronaldo from Portugal and Lionel Messi from Argentina.
In the video, it can be seen that after taking a brief pause, Gambhir responded, "neither”. Following that, he remarked, "I'd lean towards Marcus Rashford, I believe." This answer from the veteran India batter raised quite a few eyebrows from fans who follow Gambhir. Also, this is not the first time that the former India opener has come up with a response like that.

Show something positive: Gautam Gambhir
The ODI World Cup winner from 2011, Gautam Gambhir discussed his intense exchange with Shahid Afridi, emphasizing that he put it behind him a long time ago. During an ANI Podcast with Smita Prakash, Gambhir expressed his frustration with the media continually highlighting his clash with Afridi before every 'India vs Pakistan' match. The former cricketer urged the media to focus on positive aspects, such as the Men in Blue's victory over the "Men in Green" in the Asia Cup final.
"When there's a match between India and Pakistan why do they always show my fight with Shahid Afridi, there are so many other fights that have happened. Show something positive. Show when India has won the Asia Cup against Pakistan," the former India skipper said.
